VELARIUM ZIP is an elegant and efficient zip-screen shading system suited to terraces, pergolas and façades. With high-performance fabrics, robust extruded aluminium and intelligent motorised operation, it provides solar protection, wind resistance and an insect barrier while preserving natural ventilation and a modern look.

FAQ VELARIUM ZIP

What is a zip screen system and how does it work?
It is a motorised external blind in which the fabric is held hermetically in the side guides by a concealed zipper (ZIP technology). This stops the fabric being pulled out by the wind and eliminates light gaps entirely.

Does it protect against insects?
Yes. The fully hermetic closure of the ZIP system means the screen also acts as a highly effective insect barrier when fully lowered.

How does the fabric cope with weather and UV?
We use premium micro-perforated fabrics that block up to 90% of UV radiation and significantly reduce heat, while still allowing natural ventilation and a view out. The fabric is mould resistant and does not fade over time.
